On April 30th, Boeing announced that the B787 Dreamliner fleet has now carried over one billion passengers. This milestone was achieved in under 14 years, faster than any other widebody commercial aircraft. Boeings global fleet of 787’s amounting to over 1,175 aircraft has completed almost five million flights equating to over 30 million flight hours. On average, each aircraft in the fleet spends more than 12 hours in the air daily.
To date, IAC has painted over 70% of Boeing’s 787 fleet across our global locations. We are proud to be global leaders in aircraft painting and one of the most experienced Boeing 787 paint applicators in the world.
IAC has partnered with Boeing since 2012 and is excited to serve as a key partner to support the company. Last year, IAC expanded its relationship with Boeing after being awarded a long-term contract to operate both of the Boeing widebody paint facilities in Portland (“PDX”), Oregon, USA. The two Portland widebody facilities are each capable of accommodating up to a Boeing 777 and are primarily used to paint new production aircraft.
