Alaska Airlines Unveils It’s “More to Love” Special Livery

Alaska Air Group unveiled at San Francisco, December 14, 2016 (the home of Virgin America) a special Alaska Airlines + Virgin America “More to Love” livery on N493AS. The merger of Alaska Airlines and Virgin America, provide an alternative to the “Big 4” airlines that currently control 84% of the domestic market.

IAC was happy to be chosen for the painting services and livery graphics for this prototype paint scheme. The freshly painted Boeing 737-990, was proudly painted under confidentiality at IAC’s high desert Victorville, California facility. The “More to Love” is the only one of its kind! Our team worked for 21 days on the aircraft and had to keep it out of the public eye for an additional 30 days for the merger of the two companies to be announce. This is not always an easy task for an aircraft of this size (B737-990) but we were able to do it with the help of our crew onsite in Victorville, California.

This project is close to our hearts to our IAC team in Spokane, Washington and both facilities in California, Irvine and Victorville as the combination expands services and provides more frequent connections to international airline partners in Los Angeles, the Bay area and Seattle offering over 1200 flights daily. We here at IAC take pleasure in contributing to the airlines and the customers.
