Alaska Airlines debuts new ‘Mickey’s Toontown’

Alaska Airlines debuts new 'Mickey’s Toontown' 1(featuring Mickey Mouse and some of his pals)

IAC recently showcased its latest special livery aircraft for Alaska Airlines that will be soaring the skies with a touch of magic from everyone’s favorite pal, Mickey Mouse.

Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800, tail number 565AS, is adorned with playful images of Mickey Mouse, along with their pals Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.  For the unique design IAC worked hand and hand with Alaska Airlines’ design team which even includes Chip ‘n’ Dale on the boarding doors and winglets.   To get the job done it took IAC artists over 400 hours and 20 days to hand-paint the brightly colored aircraft exterior from nose to tail.

IAC worked side by side with the teams from Alaska Airlines & Akzo Nobel to deliver the graphics, coloring and paint perfectly applied artwork to the aircraft.  The plane’s exterior artwork is inspired by Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Park, which is a whimsical and newly reimagined animated themed neighborhood.
