Supply Chain Manager required at our facility in Fort Worth, Texas

International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) is the world’s leading aviation specialist painting company. We work with Domestic and International Original Aircraft Equipment Manufacturing Companies, Airlines operators, private operators and aviation leasing companies across the globe to provide tailor made aircraft painting, graphic solutions that ensure regulatory compliance globally. We currently run 16 sites, 6 of which have wide body aircraft capacity and each year we paint over 1000 aircraft across our facilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage & Mentor the Supply Chain team to deliver effective communication of Material’s status to the site GM and cross-functional team to ensure on-time delivery of Production requirements.
• Support the IAC ‘Inventory Culture’, driving the team to key initiatives to help balance supply & demand, eliminating excess and expired materials, and reducing overall costs to the P&L.
• Proactively participate in daily Pulse meetings with all Supply Chain Team members to address department KPI’s and risk mitigation for current projects.
• Proactively participate in weekly Operations and Cost Savings meetings in support of achieving targets for department & site level KPI’s
• Enforce Root Cause Corrective Action disciplines for the Supply Chain department.
• Create and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve Supply Chain processes.
• Develops and coaches team members in a complex working environment to achieve objectives through teamwork and effective decision making.
• Creates and implements training plans for team as required.
• Performs annual performance reviews & professional development discussions with direct reports.
• Supports internal and external Supply Chain audits, ensuring team compliance to IAC’s processes and certification requirements.
• Run reports on expired product, disposition accordingly.
• Lead all Planning & Purchasing related duties associated with the Supply Chain Department. Monitor open order reports to insure they are accurate and ensure all material is delivered.
• Provide & Support Sales with any pricing requests.
• Participate in GEMBA & FOD walks as part of the Lean/Continuous Improvement team.
• Perform Month end closing procedures at the end of each Monthly cycle.
• Plan and distribute work to Supply Chain Team.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Any other tasks assigned by Supply Chain Director or Leadership.

Position Requirements:
• Highly motivated and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with and influencing internal stakeholders, external suppliers and Senior Executives.
• Ambitious, driven, persistent and confident in own ability to achieve targets.
• Strong negotiation skills with extensive experience and proven ability in identifying and sourcing global suppliers, setting a strategy for supplier selection and price negotiations.
• Proven ability of leading, directing and motivating a global team to achieve their potential.
• Ability to initiate and support change and implement processes, tools and controls to contribute to continuous improvement activity within the Group.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities and to work to tight deadlines.
• Proven strategic thinker with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success of global supply chain and project management, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Availability to travel to Company, Customer and Supplier locations as required.
Managerial Responsibilities: This position directly manages the Supply Chain Team at multiple sites across the USA. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with IAC’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) ; five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPIM, Six Sigma preferred
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
• Forklift and or material handling experience required
• Supply Chain Certification preferred
• IATA certification a plus
Computer Skills:
• Excellent computer, written skills including high proficiency in use of MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Power point.
• Strong ERP skills, preferably in Pentagon
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work in wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, air-borne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is 85db.
