About the Position

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for ensuring all maintenance tasks off/on aircrafts and/or articles meet applicable CFRs, customer requirements and the provisions of the Repair Station Manual. An A&P Mechanic must know and follow all regulations set by the FAA. FAA regulations govern the maintenance schedules, inspections and repairs made to airplanes. The FAA conducts regular checks on equipment and ensures regulations are being met. A&P License required in order to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure work assigned is accomplished per established inspection procedures and CFR’s.
• Ensure all assigned work items and tasks have been completed.
• Ensure all necessary forms and work documents are signed off properly.
• Immediately communicating to management any procedures, practices or habits which, if not corrected, might lead to injury, inefficiency or an un-airworthy condition.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain familiarity with IAC’s RSM/QCM, customer maintenance policies and procedures (as applicable) and all current CFR’s as pertaining to their duties.
• Ensure all work for which the technician is responsible for is properly performed, inspected and documented.
• Properly and efficiently use all tools, parts, equipment and materials.
• Perform other duties or assignments.

Position Requirements:
• Experience working on Aircraft Maintenance Projects
• Lift 50 lbs. without assistance, strain or immediate injury
• Pass a DOT Drug and Alcohol Test
• Pass a 10 Year Background Check and Obtain TSA Airport Badge
• Ability to work a variety of shifts based on company and client needs

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
• Current and Valid Certificates: FAA Airframe & Powerplant
• Current and Valid Identification: State Issued DL

Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
